Martin 242 Fleet One

This is for the information of boats sailing out of KYC

The one design fleets at KYC are organizing several programs for 2010. So far these include:

-the Thursday night crew pool for the lightning fleet
-Mentor night, where new skippers take graduating sailors from our sail training program out to experience the one design fleets. Lightning, Star and 505 fleets are involved
-Movie Night. A technical sailing film

I have also had 242 sailors mention an interest in a crew exchange with the 505's to try each others boats, and a crew pool for your Wednesday night racing for bronze 4 or higher trained sailors, and a rules discussion night.

If your fleet wants to be involved in any of these programs, I would appreciate it if one boat would take on the responsibility of serving as the contact person and organizing force for the fleet
