SOLD - 6th boat of 2025 to change hands and the 84th in 8.5 years - Vancouver, BC, in April/May, 2025: Scarlett - Hull 57 (unlisted transaction): to Erica Crilly from Cedric Carter. The boat has a yard dolly and a 2016 Measurement Certificate and is a past NA's winning boat. It will stay at Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.

Erica's love for sailing first started at RVYC as a youth in the JTP which eventually led to a great summer job teaching for several summers at RVYC.  Later in her University years she was able to spread her enthusiasm for sailing and briefly volunteered with the Disabled Sailing Program in Toronto Harbour.

After she moved back to Vancouver and clambered out of the chaos of two kids in diapers, she got back into racing/sailing via crewing at RVYC on Wednesday evenings in the Div 1/2 fleet and then "jumped ship" to the Martin 242 Fleet in 2019 after a perfect "match" with Whippet at the crew night. She has been sailing regularly on Whippet since then, but has also occasionally sailed with other Fleet members for weekend races and is well known for bringing good lunches for all!  (Editor comment: I can attest to that!)

She bought Scarlett this past Spring and has been building her helming skills over the summer with a few races but also still crewed here and there with others over the summer. She hopes to race more consistently next summer as well as will try to take Scarlett on a quick overnight camping trip to the RVYC outstations with her kids.

She has been a great contributor to our M242 Fleet One setting up the WhatsApp community, taking over Crew Night last year, and helping with the NA's this year, and we look forward to continuing to sail with her via adding another female skipper to our Fleet.

Welcome to the Regional Fleet, Erica!
