The fastest and easiest way to get back on board a 242 is to climb up over the transom by grabbing the coaming and a vertical pushpit post, and jamming one foot under the outboard motor bracket onto the small fiberglass ledge thats 5' or so wide. Potato Masher Halyard Recovery
