This year's M242 Fleet 2 championships were held at Royal Victoria Yacht Club during the Thermopylae regatta. Races were held under mostly sunny skies on Saturday with variable wind speeds from 2-12 knots for the 6 races. Sunday was sunny all day with very light air for all 3 races. Both days saw flat water and extremely variable current with multiple streams on the course.

Mike and team were awarded the “Fleet 2 Championship” trophy (the M242 half model), the first time it’s ever been won by a non-Fleet-2 boat, plus the Royal Vic M242 Award (the big silver trophy).
